2012 Taiwan Trade Mission to Russia & Belarus

The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the foremost nonprofit trade promotion organization in Taiwan, is leading a delegation of 11 Taiwanese enterprises to visit Chelyabinsk, Ufa, and Moscow in Russia as well as Minsk, Belarus from 1st to 16th September. Through this 16-day visit, the Taiwanese delegates aim not only to explore the potential opportunities that are available in these markets, but also seek to strengthen cooperative ties with their Russian and Belarusian partners.
Representing Taiwan’s different industries, the delegation members will be presenting a range of products including home furniture and house wares, PVC sponge leather, machinery accessories (gears, shafts), spray booth, scales, LED lighting products and components, machine tools (grinders), printing machines, lathes, impact sockets and women’s sweaters. The Taiwan Sweater Industry Association in particular is joining this year’s trade delegation to promote Taiwan-made sweaters in the local high fashion market.
Through this event, local businesspeople will have the unique opportunity of meeting the delegates in person to discuss possible business cooperation. The dates and locations of the trade meetings are as follows:

6th: Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Bashkortostan (Ufa, Russia)
10th: Marriott Moscow Grand Hotel (Moscow, Russia)
13th: Crowne Plaza Minsk (Minsk, Belarus)
